§ 12 Legal system, jurisdiction

12.1 German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention.

12.2 For customers who enter into the contract for a purpose that cannot be attributed to their professional or commercial activity (consumers), this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive them of mandatory provisions of the law of the state in which they have their habitual residence.

12.3 For all disputes arising from the contractual relationship, if the orderer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law, the jurisdiction is Merzig.
